They might not be the ~sexiest~ of beauty products, but to be honest, pumice stones are kinda my secret weapon for getting soft-as-hell feet. Yup, those little rocks (which are made with a combination of lava and water, FYI) are excellent for stripping dead skin from your feet—especially if you’re someone who deals with dry heels and tough calluses year-round (it me!). Basically, regular exfoliation = key if you’re trying to smooth and soften your feet, and pumice stones are more than equipped to take you there.
The best part? They’re super easy to use. I like to start with a quick soak in warm water for five minutes and then carefully (but, like, firmly) rub the stone along my feet in circles. After I rinse my feet (and the stone), I layer on a thick dollop of moisturizer to add back plenty of hydration. And as long as you keep your pumice stone away from sensitive areas (like your body or hands), they’re a great shortcut to getting baby-soft feet. Keep scrolling for 10 pumice stones you’ll definitely want to add to your routine.
The coolest thing about this pumice stone is that it’s got two sides. On one side, you’ll find a rough terra-cotta clay that’s excellent for buffing away dead skin on your feet, and on the other you'll get a softer, smoother surface that helps polish and buff your skin. And unlike those pumice stones that lose their magic after a couple months, this one is actually long-lasting (and v easy to hold, FWIW).
I get it: Sometimes it’s annoying to work with a large, awkwardly shaped stone (especially when you’re targeting such a small area, like your heels). IMO, this mini pumice stone is the perfect size—it fits comfortably in your hands, it’s super lightweight, and it’s easy to store in your bathroom or shower. Also, $5 snags you two stones (which, NGL, is kinda an epic deal).

This 100 percent natural pumice stone is made withpure volcanic lava (hence the dark color), and it's very effective at getting rid of the toughest of calluses. After soaking your feet, dampen the stone and rub it along any rough areas in small, circular motions until your dead skin lifts. Keep in mind that you shouldn't do any harsh scrubbing with this bb—it's a bit too abrasive—so keep your motions nice and light and follow with a dollop of foot cream.
