I loved this. I will say that the best part about having beads as a little girl is the colors. I used to get my hair braided with beads all the time and I would get whatever color I wanted at the moment. It was the most amazing thing about the braiding experience. It doesn’t really matter if the color matches your clothes every day. It’s all about how the colors in your hair make you feel when you have them in your hair. So please, please, please let them get whatever color they want. Childhood is so short. Let them enjoy every second of it while they can.

It is so beautiful to see these little girls wanting to express and explore their personal style and cultural heritage and to see how encouraging and supportive their parents are. Getting their hair braided was made in to an exciting fun positive experience.
Heartwarming to watch this family event, which they all participated in and made it such a special shared memory for all. Even Boss Baby Quincey got involved at the beauty supply store, inspecting the sunglasses and beads, she was not going to be left out...she makes me laugh so much.

This was so good!! I had to have the conversation about boundaries with my 2 year old. So not much of a conversation but her teacher helped her too. So she says “no thank you please” when someone is too close or unwanted touching

Charlotte ur an amazing loving mom!!😀 My dad would have a conniption when my daughter would ask him to get her hair braided because of the cost. But when he saw the joy or her face he said it was worth it. Great job mom and dad they are truly worth it. To Ced girl dads I've seen are far and in-between. You Rock sir.
